So I have a really good excuse as to why I have not posted in over a week... I went to New Orleans and was unable to bake cookies! I had such a fun time and wanted to share some pics with y'all.

These are beignets which are like doughnuts. They are fried squares of dough with a pile of powdered sugar on top!!! My friend and I got beignets from Cafe Du Monde FOUR days in a row!!!

The temperature indicator that tells what the temp will be like the next day. If the temp will be lower the next day the letters will light up from top to bottom. If the temp will be higher the next day the letters will light up from bottom to top. If the temp will stay the same all the letters will flash.

On the way back in the train.

More Tooth Cookies

Made a total of 5 DOZEN cookies for my mom and one of her dentist friends where they teach. They were meeting with their new students today and wanted to give them something special.

I think their favorite thing to do with the "tooth" cookies was brushing them with the "toothbrush" cookies. I'm so glad to see pictures of them enjoying the cookies!!!

Happy Birthday!!!!!!

Happy 18th Birthday to my not so little brother! His favorite team is the Texas Longhorns so I decided to make him some longhorn cookies.

Happy Birthday to Anna Kate who turned ONE the same day as my brother's birthday. Such a sweet little girl!

I ran out of pink at the end so I decided to mix things up a bit since I had a little extra green icing in the fridge. I should have thickened up the icing a bit and used a smaller tip but I still think they turned out well for running out of icing and having a bunch of plain white cookies.
